Please note that all classes are currently held virtually via Zoom. Behind the Wheel sessions are available to enrolled students only. Private lessons are not available at this time.

Please email or call if you are making up classes. You will need an access code.

Register for Classes by Location

Roland Park Driving School is happy to offer several convenient locations where students can learn how to drive safely. Our main location is at the Rotunda, but we also partner with other schools to bring our program to their students. Therefore registration is run through the particular school where the class is held.

When selecting the class you wish to take, please be aware that you MUST be able to attend the first session of the class you register for. We allow students to take all other individual classes in any order, but the first class is considered the foundation for all following classes, and therefore must be the first class attended. Also note that all class sessions and driving hours must be completed within 2 years of the date of the first class.

When you have selected the class you would like to take, identify the school where it will take place, and then register according to the particular location where the class will be held:

The Rotunda
For all classes taking place at the Rotunda we offer two package options to allow you to choose the amount of driving instruction that is right for you. Add Instructor Accompaniment to your MVA test so you can be confident on the day you go for your license. Call 410-467-RPDS for all cost details.

To register for a class at the Rotunda, call 410-467-RPDS. Please leave a message saying that you are interested in enrollment, and we will be in touch to discuss the available options. You can also send an email to rolandparkdrivingschool@gmail.com with your preferred class start date, and we'll get back to you about availability.

If you wish to secure a spot in a particular class, please download the registration form (PDF) . When you fill it out, be sure to indicate on the form whether you are interested in the Basic, Deluxe, Basic Plus or Deluxe Plus class package option. Send in the form along with a $100 deposit to: Roland Park Driving School, 711 W. 40th Street, Suite 205, Baltimore, MD 21211. Please Note: the $100 deposit is fully refundable until 2 weeks before the class start date.

Loyola Blakefield
Sessions are open to all interested students whether they attend Loyola Blakefield or not. If you are insterested in a session, please visit loyolablakefield.org/campus-life/blakefield-experience or call Chantal Cross at 443-841-3328 to register for a class at Loyola Blakefield.

Maryvale

Enrollment Process at the Rotunda

When calling 410-467-RPDS for enrollment in a class at the Rotunda, messages are returned in the order that they are received, so we suggest you leave a message indicating your interest. Ms. Lyle Ondayko will call you back and discuss possibilities.

If there is a open spot in a class, we will reserve the space for you, guaranteeing you place in the class. As a courtesy, we ask that if you decide not to take the class you reserved, please give us a call and let us know. That way if someone is on the waiting list he/she can be moved up.

If you want to be guaranteed a spot in a particular class, we recommend that you download and fill out the registration form (PDF) and mail it to us with a $100 deposit: Roland Park Driving School, 711 W. 40th Street, Suite 205, Baltimore, MD 21211. Class Cancellation Policy

Roland Park Driving School reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum designated enrollment. In such an event, a full refund is available, or payment can be transfered to another session of equal value.

Individual class sessions at our various school locations (The Rotunda, Loyola Blakefield, Roland Park Country School, and Maryvale) may be cancelled and rescheduled at the discretion of the school. If a student cannot attend the class on the rescheduled date, we make it easy to find a make up date that works for you. Please see our Make Up A Class Page for more detailed information.

Behind-the-Wheel Sessions Completion Policy

We recommend completing the 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel time with an RPDS instructor within 18 weeks of the conclusion of the 30-hour classroom instruction. If this is not possible, we expect that your first Behind-the-Wheel drive should be completed within the first year, and preferably all instructor drives should be completed within the 1-year time frame. If driving hours are not finished within 2 years of completing the 30-hour classroom instruction, the entire 30-hour course plus Behind-the-Wheel instruction must be retaken.
