Learn a lifetime skill. Keep yourself & others safe.

A few words to the parents, guardians and mentors of beginning drivers:

Upon first receiving a learner's permit, students are strongly advised to begin driving with a parent, guardian or mentor. Empty parking lots are a good starting place for the beginner to familiarize themselves with controls, such as gas pedal, brake pedal, and steering wheel.

Please remember... you're nervous, but so is your pupil. Becoming excited, angry, or yelling doesn't help anyone. In truth, it makes matters much worse. Almost all beginning drivers have said the number of mistakes they make are greatly increased when someone becomes angry with them or raises their voice when they are taking driving practice.
